Two attorneys.
Thousands of scared clients.
One idea.
We ran an immigration law firm together. Day after day, we sat across from families — good people — living with a fear that never really goes away. The fear of being stopped. Of being separated. Of not knowing what to do when that moment came.
Our clients asked us the same questions over and over: "If ICE stops me, how do I reach you right away? How do I record what's happening? How do I let my kids' school know? How does my family find out?"
There was no good answer. So we decided to build one.
What started as a solution for our own clients quickly became something much bigger. Millions of immigrants across the United States wake up every day carrying that same weight — that same uncertainty. We realized they all deserved the same protection. So we built OneTapSOS for all of them.
"If ICE stops me on the way to work — how do I reach you? How does my family know?"— Our clients. The reason OneTapSOS exists.
We heard this constantly. There was no app for this. No simple, reliable tool built specifically for immigrants facing ICE encounters. The legal system hadn't kept up with the moment — so we built the bridge ourselves, starting with the people sitting across the desk from us.
